Silvana Flores Guzman, founded Silvana's Design over
20 years ago with the intention of applying her enthusiasm and knowledge
to her trade. Mrs. Flores Guzman, has worked as an Assistant for
the General Event Coordinator of Quito's City Hall, the capital
of Ecuador. A couple of times she was elected by the Mayor to participate
as a Judge in the Annual Queen of the City, and also as a pageant
and a former second winner of this event herself.
Silvana gained valuable experience with
her own real estate company, when living
in Quito. Her company was receiving the properties from builders
before the construction started and was in charge of managing the
promotion, publicity, sale, payments, showroom, decor and more,
which makes her an expert in commercial and residential design.
“My job is also to give my time to the people in need,”
she said. While living in Houston Texas, she was honored by Mayor
Lee Brown and City Councilors with the "Outstanding award of
Community Services".
Silvana was Chairman of the Ecuadorian Muscular Dysthrophy in Texas,
Executive Director & Public Affairs & International Representative
of the Ecuadorian Muscular Dystrophy and "Ambassador"
to the Hispanic Community on behalf of Continental Airlines.
While living in Calgary Alberta, Silvana was a volunteer with the
"Calgary Theater", offering them her expertise to enhance
the "Auction Room", for the "Night of the Oscars"
at the Palliser Hotel. Now, as a member of the Canadian Redesigner
Association, she will volunteer her time with the NATIONAL OVARIAN
CANCER ASSOCIATION (NOCA), ensuring the women in cancer treatment,
have a comfortable and harmonious room.
